Coolant Filters

PowerBoost High-Pressure Coolant Delivery System

The PowerBoost High-Pressure Coolant Delivery System is a compact, fully integrated unit designed to supply clean, pressurized coolant directly to the cutting zone for improved machining performance. Engineered for demanding CNC operations, PowerBoost delivers filtered coolant at pressures up to 70 bar for emulsions and 120 bar for oil, dramatically improving chip evacuation, cooling efficiency, tool life, and machining accuracy. Equipped with a dedicated suction pump, duplex filtration, a 180-liter clean coolant tank, and a high-pressure screw or gear pump (depending on coolant type), PowerBoost provides a stable and continuous supply of high-pressure coolant without modifying the machine’s internal tank. Its touch-screen HMI, automatic bypass filtration, and multiple high-pressure outlets make it ideal for drilling, milling, turning, and deep-hole machining processes.

How the PowerBoost System Works

The PowerBoost system creates a closed-loop high-pressure coolant supply for CNC machines, pulling dirty coolant from the machine tank, filtering it, storing it, and returning it under controlled high pressure.

  • Coolant Extraction & Pre-Transfer A dedicated suction pump draws contaminated coolant directly from the CNC’s internal tank. This ensures a continuous feed of fluid into the PowerBoost system without modifying the machine tool.
  • Duplex Filtration System The extracted coolant passes through a duplex cartridge filter—allowing operators to switch between filter elements without shutting the system down. An automatic bypass ensures uninterrupted operation during filter replacement or pressure spikes.
  • Clean Coolant Storage Filtered coolant is collected in an integrated 180-liter reservoir, providing thermal stability, sedimentation time, and a clean, consistent supply for high-pressure delivery.
  • High-Pressure Coolant Delivery A high-pressure screw or gear pump (optimized for either emulsions or straight oil) delivers coolant back to the CNC machine at up to 70 bar (emulsion) or 120 bar (oil). The system supports 1, 4, or 8 independently controlled high-pressure outlets for through-tool or external coolant delivery.

This fully automated process results in superior chip evacuation, reduced cycle times, extended tool life, and more stable machining conditions.

Common Contaminants Affecting Coolant Performance

Coolant life is drastically reduced due to:

  • Chips and Metal Fines clogging pumps and nozzles

  • Tramp Oil mixing with coolant, causing bacterial growth

  • Sludge and Sediment accumulating in tanks and lines

  • Unstable Concentration Levels from improper makeup systems

CoolantFilters.com helps you eliminate these issues through custom-engineered filtration solutions.
